Who We Are

Made up of both DJs and musicians, Custom Litt knows the music industry inside and out. When our founder, Jason Rubel AKA DJ Ruby began DJing at the early age of 13, his love for the full gamut of live performances was born and eventually brought him to working with the former streaming service, Grooveshark, where he first invented the Custom Litt prototype for his own DJ gigs.
Custom Litt is the result of that vision + passion for live music, and has now developed into a full-fledged production company servicing some of the biggest bands and DJs in the world. We’ve created laptop displays for dozens of producers like DJ Khaled and DJ Nasty; syncable LED drum designs for live bands like Goose, Papadosio, Dopapod, Manic Focus and more; and our custom designs have been seen during live performances at global events such as the MTV VMAs, The SuperBowl, The Academy Awards, and the NBA All-Star Game, to name a few.
Surrounding ourselves with engineers, designers, and developers has allowed Custom Litt to truly grow to new heights. We’ve built key relationships with manufacturers such as PEAVEY who have featured our LED displays at several DJ Expos. Additionally we have had the privilege of collaborating with industry heavyweights like BPM Supreme, Reloop DJ and Innofader, to name a few. We’ve also worked with music festivals like III Points in Miami to create customized lighting experiences for brand-sponsored activations.
